Concealed Carry Permit Classes Ahwatukee AZ
The 8 hour CCW class is an additional 4 hours for free added to the legal portion for those that are new to handguns for self defense. This class will cover pistol safety, parts, operation, gun handling, pistol maintenance, the various types of pistols with hands on examples, the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship and concealed carry options as well as legal principles surrounding carrying a firearm in Arizona.
There is no shooting for this class.
NRA Home Firearms Safety Class at Bass Pro Shop Mesa AZ
This is a four-hour course for safe gun handling that is conducted in the classroom only. Students are taught NRA’s three rules for safe gun handling; primary causes of firearms accidents; firearm parts; how to unload certain action types; ammunition components; cleaning; care; safe storage of firearms in the home; and the benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports. Students will receive the NRA Home Firearm Safety handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, course completion certificate.
This class, like all NRA certified classes, will qualify successful students the necessary credentials to apply for an Arizona CCW Permit. Arizona CCW application packets and fingerprinting will be available during class breaks, as well as before and after class
