Citadel and Legacy Sports have created a Centurion CP9 replica that pays homage to Glock 48. The pistol is ready for concealed carry, with an optic-cut slide, Glock competition sight, and an 804 trigger kit. The lower price ensures you won’t have to break the bank in order to get one. The Citadel Centurion CP9, 100% made in USA, is based on the Glock 48. It offers upgrades that shooters will enjoy. The grip features a textured polymer with finger grooves and vertical texturing to enhance grip. The grip sides also feature a textured indent to help the hand settle into. A shock-absorbing backstrap also helps to reduce felt recoil. According to the manufacturer, the backstraps are not interchangeable. A Picatinny rail with a single slot is located just forward of the trigger guard. This rail can be used to attach lights, lasers and other accessories. The slide is made of 4140 steel and provides rugged durability. The slide can be easily manipulated, wet or dried, with the deep cocking serrations on both the front and rear. The front section of the slide is beveled just after the ejection hole to reduce weight and improve the overall aesthetic. Glock competition sights are mounted on the slide, giving the user the Glock aiming experience. The slide also has an optic cut that includes the Shield RMRc foot print for the addition a red dot. The slide houses a 4-inch barrel with a twist of 1:16″. It is chambered in the 9mm. The proprietary Citadel trigger kit 804 is used to fire the rounds downrange. Centurion CP9 also comes with a 14-round magazine. The company also offers 10- and 17 round magazines. The Centurion CP9 comes in black, burnt Bronze, OD Green, and Titanium Gray. For the patriotic, there are also cerakoted USA and grayscale ammo packages. Editor’s Note: Although this is a Glock replica, it is important to note that it is not compatible Glock parts. I spoke to a representative from the company, and was told it’s all proprietary. This includes no compatibility for Glock magazines. It is possible that the sights will be compatible with other Glock sights since they are Glock competition sights. Some retailers even list the sights as Glock compatible.
