You will get and envelope to mail in your fingerprints in class to finalize your application.
Once you apply online, you can log back in and check on the status of your application
Once you have created and account with Arizona Department of Public Safety you will be able to log in to your account and see the status of your application. You no longer will have to wait on the phone to check if AZ DPS received your application, if it is in process, or if it has been issued and mailed out to you.

Take a picture of your Certificate of Completion, Drivers License, Passport, immigration card, restoration of rights, set aside or expungement. Do I get my permit at this class?
Completing this class is a great first step towards getting your CCW Permit. You will not get your permit at the class, but we will give you everything you need to apply through the Arizona Dept of Public Safety, including free fingerprinting and your application paperwork.
What is a CCW permit?
A CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) permit allows you to carry concealed on your person, a loaded handgun in public (certain areas restricted).
Will my employer, neighbor or friends find out I have a CCW?
No, an Arizona CCW is not public information.
Do I get to shoot a firearm at this class?
Range Time firing of a weapon is NOT required for an Arizona CCW permit. Given our classroom setting, we do not fire or handle weapons in our classes.
How do I obtain an Arizona concealed carry permit?
Step 1: Determine your eligibility. You must be a United States citizen with no prior convicted felons, along with other requirements.
Step 2: Complete a firearms safety training program (that’s where we come in).
Step 3: Obtain and complete the application. We’ll help by supplying you with an application packet and free fingerprinting at all of our CCW permit classes.
Do I need to register existing firearms when I receive my permit?
No. Even without a CCW Permit, firearms do not need to be registered in the state of Arizona.
