They know what works and what doesn’t. Riton optics has released version 2. The details were shared by the company at the Athlon Outdoors Rendezvous. RELATED STORY: X3 TactixMPRD: Riton’s Micro Pistol red Dot Stands out in Growing Field. The Riton Optics 3 TactixPRD 2 and 3 TactixMPRD 2 Pistol sights share many of the same features, with a few minor differences. Each is made of 6061 aluminum aircraft-grade aluminum. They are shockproof (tested to 1500 G’s). They are also 100% waterproof and fog-proof, and were assembled in an EP-level cleanroom for dust-free optics. The HD glass lenses are fully multi-coated and offer excellent clarity and long-lasting performance. Both models have shake awake technology and auto-off after three minutes for longer battery life. The low battery indicator will notify you when it is time for you to change your batteries. Each Riton Optics pistol sight features an auto-brightness red dot reticle. The optics automatically dim in low light conditions and become brighter when you return to brighter conditions. Both feature elevation adjustment and 1 MOA windage. The only difference between the two is in their battery type and their life expectancy. The 3 Tactix PRD 2 uses a CR1632 lithium battery for 40,000 hours of operation. The 3 Tactix MPRD 2 uses a CR1632 battery for 40,000 hours of use. The Shield RMSc type footprint is the only difference between the 3 Tactix MPRD 2, and the 3 Tactix MPRD 2. The 3 Tactix PRD 2 has the Shield RMSc type footprint. Brady Speth, CEO, Founder of Riton Optics, said, “After launching our micro pistol red dots last year with great success,” Availability The Riton Optics 3 TactixPRD 2 and 3 TactixMPRD 2 Pistol Sights have a MSRP of $349.99.
