Erin commented: “My father was very influential on my shooting career. As a child, he was someone I looked up too. I knew he was a world-class shooter as a child. He asked me several times if I was interested in starting the 4H rifle program. When I expressed an interest in the program, he was enthusiastic. He never coached me, fearing that he would cross the father/daughter relationship between the athlete/coach relationship. However, he was always my biggest supporter. I was naturally gifted in shooting and joined my high school’s Army JROTC. I was awarded a NCAA scholarship to TCU in my senior year. After I graduated college, USAMU accepted me. My dad was a quiet, proud supporter of my shooting career. “Words Of Praise for SSG Erin McNeil, Facebook”Congratulations Sergeant McNeil, an old shooter from 1964 ARADCOM Interservice Rattle Battle matches, Fort Carson Colorado, Ft.
