The Scorpion 3+ Micro Pistol is built on a fiber-reinforced, polymer frame. This slims down the size to reduce bulk. The new grip is more ergonomic and forms better to the hand. Texturing on the sides, front, and back gives you more control. The greatest change to the grip is its ability to adjust it to reach the trigger. This adjustment allows for 1.5 inches of forward/rearward movement. The ambidextrous mag release is now located just ahead of the trigger guard. This is another noticeable improvement. This is a welcome improvement for AR platform users. The ambidextrous bolt catch is located just below the mag release and sits in front the trigger guard. This makes it easy to access. The ambidextrous thumb safety makes it easy to access all controls. The new upper receiver has been improved to make it easier to attach different accessories to the removable cap via a QD pocket. The enhanced four aperture aluminum sights offer 1/3 co-witness with red dots optics. The M-LOK handguard has been upgraded from aluminum to polymer. This results in less heat transfer and increased comfort. The reversible charging handle also helps keep the 3+ micro pistol ambidextrous. The upper houses a 4.2-inch barrel that has a removable flash can. It is threaded 1/2×28 so it can be used with suppressors or other muzzle devices. The magazine well has been updated to allow for larger hands or gloves on the handguard. The new magazines have a locking window on one side and are compatible with older Scorpion models.
