The blade’s spear point tip is enhanced by an extra-long top swedge that runs the length of it. This blade is extremely strong thanks to the D2 tool steel and the.25 inch thickness. The edge isn’t as sharp as a knife made from thinner stock. It is still sharp, but it is not as sharp as a knife with a thinner stock. The blade steel is protected by a tough Teflon coating that ensures a smooth performance and no drag. G-10 handle steel scales provide the interface between steel and flesh. The MCK-01 comes with a Kydex sheath which holds the knife in place and makes an audible click. The sheath also includes a Tek-Lok style belt carrying system.
