May 27, 2022 – More people are using Burris Signature Rings these day. These unique rings feature polymer inserts. This allows you to either pre-load elevation or center the windage in your scope setup. The polymer inserts are strong and won’t leave marks on your tube. Some people believe Signature rings offer advantages in benchrest competition. Rodney Wagner set a world record 600-yard group using Burris Signature Zee Rings (“Zee”) denoting the Weaver rail model. James O’Hara set multiple IBS 1000-yard records using Burris Signature Zee Rings. Are Signature Zees competitive enough? Absolutely. These Burris rings are a bit of a joke for some people, due to their low price. Midsouth sold a set of 1?-diameter Sig Zees for $36.47. Consider this: Rodney Wagner shot the smallest 600-yard group in history in 2013, a 0.336. 5-shot stunner using Signature Zee Rings and his IBS Light Gun.
