CMMG just announced the DISSENT pistol range, a new line of buffer-less AR pistols. The original design was small and easy to use. However, the buffer tube that protrudes from the rear has always been a limitation. CMMG has just released the DISSENT pistol range. It features a compact action with folding stock capabilities. Compact Actions don’t use a buffer tube to hold the recoil spring. Instead, they use internal dual guide rods and springs that cycle. The Compact Action can be mated with any standard AR lower and works with both standard AR gas systems (as well as CMMG’s Radial Delayed Blowback (as used with the 5.7 DISSENT) The charging handle is non-reciprocating, and is located on the left side. However, a configuration for left-handers can be made. The barrels come with a CMMG ZEROED Linear Compensationsator and are threaded 1/2×28. The guns can be used with standard AR handguards or grips. Each pistol ships with a 5.5-inch MLOK rail. Every DISSENT receiver will come with a 1913 Picatinny rail segment on the rear that can be used to mount a brace or stock. It is ready for use with most of the popular models. Each DISSENT pistol is 14.7 inches long and weighs 4.6 pounds. This makes them very useful little guns. Each pistol will also include two magazines and a TriggerTech Ar-D 2-Stage Trigger. They are now available for pre-order. Target grids and bullseye sizes can be found in MOA. Get Free Targets
