First Look: Sig Sauer P365-XMACRO

The P365-XMACRO pistol by Sig Sauer was just released. This new member of the P365 gun family boasts a 17+1 capacity 9mm. The P365XMACRO handgun is for those who prefer larger handguns with greater capacities. It is the same thin, 1-inch thick as the older models but has a taller frame that can hold the 17-round magazines. A slide with integrally compensated, XRAY3 night/day sights, a flat trigger, and three interchangeable backstraps to the Macro-Compact grip modules are some other features. The P365XMACRO has a standard accessory rail, an optics-ready slide with a ROMEOZero/Shield SMSc footprint and an interchangeable backstrap for the Macro-Compact grip module. The original P365s could hold 16 rounds when they were equipped with the extended 15-round mags. However, their grips are nearly as long as those of the P365XMACRO which can hold two more rounds with flush-fitting magazines.
