Sig Sauer has issued a product recall and warning on a particular lot. This is an important safety recall that should be taken seriously as it could cause injury if you use this ammo. Please review the following information and follow the instructions to ensure you aren’t at risk. Sig Sauer will replace affected products.
Sig Sauer issues a Product Warning and Ammo Recall Notice
Sig Sauer states that portions of Lot No. JDAR0815, 9mm, 115gr Elite Ball, FMJ (SKU. E9MMB1-50), may have powder charge variations. This could result in a bullet-inbore obstruction. This is the place where the bullet remains in a barrel, causing an obstruction to subsequent shots.
A subsequent shot fired into a bore obstruction could cause firearm damage and render the firearm inoperable. It could also cause serious personal injury to the shooter or others. The company asks you to immediately stop using the ammunition and return it to them for replacement.
Sig Sauer states that ammunition from this lot should be thrown out immediately and separated from other ammunition until it is returned to SIG SAUR.
Lot No. JDAR0815 was manufactured between April 8, 2022 and April 18, 2022. It is important to remember that this does NOT affect the entire SKU/product range. This applies only to Lot No. This applies only to Lot No.

The recall FAQs state that you can no longer use the ammunition from this Lot No. Stop using this ammunition immediately and return it to Sig Sauer for replacement.

Sig states that once your ammo is received, the company will ship your replacement ammo in 15 business days. Sig Sauer will also pay the return shipping costs.
