Concealed AZ
It seems like every time we turn on the TV we hear about another shooting, robbery or murder. People who work in delivery services have it especially challenging when it comes to defending themselves in this harsh environment.
From Uber drivers having their neck slit in Tolleson ,AZ to Uber drivers acting violently and ultimately killing a passenger – it is important both drivers and riders are aware of how to maximize their safety.
This past February an Uber Eats driver was attacked – he said he was “pistol whipped & carjacked”.
Unfortunately Uber prohibits the use of a firearm unless if you are in compliance with the Transportation Security Administration rules for transporting firearms and ammunition. (link to traveling article). Lyft does not even extend this courtesy.

How are people supposed to protect themselves from unpredictable situations if they cant prepare & exercise their rights?
It isn’t just the drivers that are the victims either, recently an Amazon driver complained of dangerous driving conditions where he said he feels unsafe in the places he makes delivieries & the time he sometimes has to work.
There is an abundance of flaws in this realm of work, when in all reality it shouldn’t be half as dangerous as it is. These companies have a long way to go when it comes to making the experience as safe as possible for drivers, riders, delivery employees and customers.
