“Battle for the Soul of the Nation” might be remembered as President Joe Biden’s last dark speech. Some political insiders see it as the moment that he called nearly half of American citizens “enemies” and he joined Hillary Clinton in describing those who don’t agree with her far left policies as “a basket of despairables.”
President Joe Biden’s Last Address Divides the Country
You are most welcome to the club. President Biden began his list with us – The firearm industry. On the Democratic primary debate stage in 2019, President Biden stated that the gun manufacturers are our enemy, not the NRA.
He is now trying to extend that to American citizens who don’t agree with his radical far-left agenda.
President Biden stated that they don’t believe in the rule-of-law. “They don’t recognize the will of people,” President Biden stated.

Labeled ‘Enemy’
Here’s what you can expect now that the president has added tens of million to his “enemies” list. Expect to be ridiculed. Expect to be made a scapegoat. Expect to be marginalized or even vilified. This is because the president and his closest circle of advisors don’t see opposing viewpoints as points upon which they can debate or politely disagree. They must crush them.
Charles Krauthammer was a political columnist who noted this. He wrote that in 2018, “Conservatives think Liberals are stupid.” Liberals believe that conservatives are evil.
They believe they must defeat their enemies, just like evil. The rhetoric gets heated. The political jabs also escalate to blame. It escalates to exaggeration and outright lies. This is the reality that the firearm industry has had to face under the Biden administration.
A Constitutionally-protected industry has been slandered by a president even as he passes off accusations and lies that even a cursory examination shows are untrue.
It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter what. This has resulted in a torrent of political attacks on the firearm industry and defiance of Constitution that the president swore would protect and defend.
Furthermore, the U.S. Supreme Court has made the right to keep and bear weapons an individual right. It is now a second-class rights.
Biden Administration targets Firearm Industry, Not Criminals
President Biden also criticized the firearm industry, blaming it for the rise in crime rates. His Congressional allies called firearm manufacturing chiefs to Capitol Hill to denigrate them for legal business. They ignore the fact that Congress and Biden refuse to lock up criminals and stop spiraling crime.
The Biden administration does not place blame on the horrendous murders committed by criminals who are truly evil and deranged. Instead, they make the firearm industry their victim. They even go so far as to support far-fetched radical ideas like limiting Second Amendment freedoms and First Amendment free speech.

Real Solutions are being ignored
President Biden will marginalize those who are currently on his “enemies” list. This has been witnessed by the firearm industry.
Real Solutions is run by the firearm industry. Safer Communities. (r) campaign. Safety initiatives that have been proven to reduce criminal and negligent misuses of firearms.
Two of these programs are partner programs with Department of Justice (DOJ), and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives(ATF). These include Operation Secure Store(r), and the Don’t Lie for Other GuyTM program.
The ATF works with the Don’t Lie initiative to stop illegal straw purchases of firearms. OSS also assists firearm retailers in increasing security at their stores to deter and prevent burglaries and robberies.
According to the ATF, OSS is working to reduce gun store thefts and burglaries. The industry matches ATF rewards for the recovery of stolen firearms and brings criminals to justice through NSSF.
Due to its effectiveness in delivering suicide prevention resources to firearm ranges, and retailers to prevent tragedies, the firearm industry’s suicide prevention partner with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention was extended to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
None of these are mentioned by the Biden administration. It doesn’t fit with the narrative and doesn’t please the special-interest gun control organizations that shaped his gun control agenda.
The Midterms are Coming
In the Biden administration, there is no room for opposition or dissent. The Biden administration is filled with dark, unsettling images of a president demeaning Americans against a blood-red background and pounding his fists on a lectern.
It is unnerving for those who are new to the “enemies” label. We’ve been there, and we know what message we need to send for the firearm industry come the Nov. 8 midterm election, when everyone must #GUNVOTE (r).
