Brownells Announces BRN-4 Piston Upper Receiver Sets

Brownells just released the BRN-4 Piston Upper Receiver Kit. This kit offers builders an affordable way to clone the H&K 416. The H&K 416 AR-15 derivative is one of the most recognizable. Its legendary piston operating system has led to its adoption by the U.S Marine Corps and other prestigious military organisations around the world. Many Americans want one. However, authentic Heckler & Koch parts can be extremely rare and expensive. Brownells has released the BRN-4 Piston Lower Receiver Kit, which offers a cheaper route to H&K 416 ownership. It includes both factory-new Brownells BRN-4 components and surplus German parts. Brownells was able to source a few genuine H&K 416 handguards and uppers a few years back. They are now available in limited quantities through these kits. Although the uppers may have some signs of wear, once the original German parts are gone, they cannot be replaced. Brownells also supplies the other parts of the kit, including the barrels in 10.4-, 14.5 – and 16-inch sizes. The kits can be used with standard AR-15 and H&K416-style lower receivers. Individual parts can also be purchased from Brownells. Although still quite expensive, this kit is a great option for those who want to build a 416 replica.
