It appears that FedEx and UPS have now provided confidential information to the ATF, and other Federal government agencies, in response to Democratic politicians and anti gun lobbying groups. FedEx and UPS may be recording shipping data and monitoring the contents of shipping parcels, according to some reports. UPS has established rules that gun shops must provide customer data and issue invoices. FedEx also requires gun shops to keep customer/content information. These policy changes could lead to the “creation of a database of American firearm purchasers”. This is a de facto gun registry. Federal Law prohibits it. These anti-gun policies were apparently adopted in response to threats from the Democratic Party U.S. Senators Edward Markey and Dick Blumenthal, Dianne Feinstein and Cory Booker were among those who adopted the anti-gun policies. These are all coincidental. This policy gives UPS the power and discretion to review and examine any customer documents relating to firearms sales. FedEx now demands that gun shop owners keep records about the contents of firearm shipments and make those documents available to FedEx upon request. These companies could then create a database of American gun buyers and identify exactly what items they bought. AmmoLand News reported recently that UPS changed its policy regarding unfinished frames and receivers. It even informed customers that if any packages contained the targeted items (or what the Biden Administration calls “ghost guns”), their accounts would be cancelled and the items destroyed. “18 State Attorneys General Challenge FedEx and UPS Policies

18 state Attorneys General sent letters to FedEx and UPS top officials to counter these policy changes. The Montana A.G. Austin Knudsen wrote to FedEx asking whether Federal agencies have access to gun owners’ information. FedEx now appears to demand that gun store owners keep records of what items those shipments contain, and that FedEx can request that information. FedEx can create a database of American gun buyers and determine what items they bought by combining these demands. Your policies, perhaps most importantly, allow FedEx to allegedly ‘comply…requests of applicable law enforcement or other government authorities’ even if those requests are ‘inconsistent with any applicable law, rule or regulation, or order. You may have accidentally given federal agencies a way around federal law that has long prohibited federal agencies from using gun sales for gun registries. “Similar Posts:Tags: BATFE, Federal Express, Fedex, Gun Registry, Gun Shipping, United Parcel Service, UPS
