Bushnell was pleased with the 6-24×50 Match Pro riflescope scope, but many shooters desired something more powerful. The Match Pro ED 5-30×56 has a higher magnification, a larger objective lens, and other improvements. This high-grade glass has been coated with an EXO barrier to protect it from the elements. The ED stands for Extra-Low dispersion Prime glass. The new zero stop is easier to use, and the integrated throw lever can be used by either left- or right-handed shooters. There is also a minimum parallax of 15 yards for close engagements. The Match Pro ED 5-30×56 is tough and waterproof. It also features an IPX7 waterproof and fogproof etched glass FFP reticle (DM2) that is new. It is an illuminated 2/10 MRAD reticle with 11 brightness levels and an auto-shut off feature to conserve battery. It’s based upon Bushnell’s Deploy MIL reticle, but has a finer 2/10 MRAD tree grid that allows for easier use at higher magnification levels. I was able to test it this July at a Bushnell/RCBS event. The scope performed admirably, whether it was at extreme distances or picking up prairie dogs from a truck, The reticle was easy to use and adjustments were made at long range. The Match Pro ED 5-30×56 MSRP is only $699. This scope makes bagging prairie dogs easy at shorter ranges. The scope is now available and offers a great value for long-range shooters and competitors. Target grids and bullseye sizes can be downloaded in MOA. This is a great option for long-range shooting. Enter your email address below.
