The Lapua Hunt app is now available for Android and iOS (Apple), smartphones and tablets. The free Lapua Hunt App is available via Google Play and the Apple iOS iStore. It provides ballistics, mapping, and weather reporting. Lapua Hunt combines many of the best hunting apps with sophisticated 6DOF ballistics programs. Lapua Hunt uses the product data and advanced calculator from Lapua Ballistics App. Lapua says that Lapua Hunt is the digital solver for hunters who value ethical hunting, accuracy and safety. You can add your rifle and reticle, choose the best ammo, and you will be able to harvest hunting game of all sizes. The basic Hunt app is free and includes all the essential functionality. Additional bonus features can be purchased for an “In-App” fee. In Lapua Hunt’s basic calculator view you can log wind speed and direction (red circle), shooting angle and distance to target/prey. You can also log weather information such as temperature, air pressure and relative humidity. Additional paid features include cartography/map view and the ability to set up a hunting team.
