The new Oracle Arms 2311 is initially available in five configurations. However, it was a big hit at SHOT Show’s Industry Day at Range. The company will be introducing a new concept to the 2011 concept (9mm double stack 1911) by adding some Sig P320 DNA to the mix. The result is the Oracle Arms 2311 and it’s initially being offered in five different configurations.Variations include Compact, Compact Elite, Combat, Combat Elite and Competition, and we got to put rounds through most of them while at SHOT’s range day. All models ran flawlessly, with the exception of a few minor issues with the compact model (likely due to oil problems). The models feed from Sig P320 magazines and feature a fully ambidextrous sliding lock. They also have a linkless barrel that makes field stripping easier. Oracle Arms says that the primary goal of the 2311 was to combine the reliability and versatility of a striker-fired, polymer duty pistol with its fit, finish, speed and trigger pull. We were able to accomplish this feat while keeping the magazine cost at a third of the price of the competition. This magazine doesn’t have any of the problems that the “double-stack 1911” magazines are known for. The MSRP of the new Oracle Arms 2311 pistols is between $1,700 to $3,000. This lowers the barrier to entry. The MSRP for the new Oracle Arms 2311 pistols will be between $1,700 and $3,000. Target grids and bullseye sizes can be downloaded in MOA.
