The Beretta 80X Cheetah Rounds Downrange before SHOT Show 2023

Every year, before SHOT Show I get behind-the scenes updates on new guns that will hit the market. Some are more interesting than others. The thing that catches my attention in most cases is the person releasing a new firearm. I was intrigued when I saw that Beretta was adding the 80X Cheetah to their handgun line-up. The Beretta 80X Cheetah Beretta does not release a gun randomly. Beretta is the gun company that has been making guns for over 500 years. They are actually the oldest manufacturer in the entire world. They were in business long before Shakespeare and Michelangelo painted St. Peter’s Basilica. The Beretta family has been involved in ironworking since the 1400s. They made their first firearm product in 1506, and have been in ironworking since. Bartolomeo Beretta, a master gun barrel maker, sold 185 arquebus barrels for 296 ducats to the Arsenal of Venice. The rest is history, as they say. This update was really interesting to me because it is a new version if an older model that I used back in the day. The Beretta 80X Cheetah is here! The Beretta Cheetah, a reliable.380 that was an excellent choice for concealed carry in the 1990s was a popular choice. Today, Beretta is bringing new life to this old-school gun. The 80X Cheetah, an all-metal gun, has a greater capacity than any other.380s on the market. The 80X Cheetah, a modern version of a classic pistol, is ergonomically designed to be smaller than other.380s on the market. It is also more comfortable for larger hands. This makes it easy to use for defensive and practice purposes. The 80X Cheetah is designed for concealed carry and can be carried in many different ways. It can be carried in almost any type of carry method because it is small enough. It has a modern design, and is optic-ready. This allows you to mount any glass of your choice. The plates and optics will support the Holosun K-509K and Shield-pattern footprints. Equal parts form and function The gun is attractive and is available in black or their premium Bronze, which is complemented by multi-tone controls. The 80X’s launch edition comes in a matching leather case. A leather case is a must if you want a sleek-looking steel blaster. The slide of the 80X Cheetah is easy to rack and has enough serrations for easy grasping. It also has interchangeable sights that make it easier to target acquisition. The Vertec grip is equipped with interchangeable grip panels that make it easier to grip the 80X Cheetah. The enhanced beavertail helps you to grasp the firearm quickly and clearly. It is also long enough to protect against slide-bites. This is a huge advantage for those with thicker hands. The operator can choose whether they want to shoot right-handed or left-handed by using the frame-mounted ambidextrous safety feature and the reversible magazine release. The Beretta 80X Cheetah’s adjustable X-Treme S trigger is what caught my attention. The trigger has an overtravel adjustment that reduces the trigger’s reset travel by just 1mm. This customization feature is great to use with the grips. The gun uses a double-action/single-action operating system with a skeletonized hammer that speeds up lock time. Despite its small size, the gun features a 13-round flush fit magazine that provides plenty of capacity for its.380 ACP chambering. Rounds Downrange with an 80X Cheetah. I had the chance to test drive the new 80X at a Beretta range event right before SHOT Show. They were their first event of this type and they did a great job. While I was enjoying their new shotguns and the Cheetah calling, I was also able to get some time with them. First impressions were positive. The gun’s ergonomic lines are well-rounded for comfortable carrying. It is also heavy, which aids in recoil management. The slide’s serrations are balanced and provide a good grip without removing skin. The gun has a tuned recoil spring that is easy to rack. This is a great feature for people with grip issues who often struggle with the slide. The 80X Cheetah is almost 10 ounces heavier that some of its competitors and feels great in the hands. This is important as micro blasters are often difficult to shoot due to muzzle rise and recoil. The 80X Cheetah is not affected by this issue and is a joy to shoot. It was very fast for second shots and all follow-up shots due to minimal muzzle rise. The Trifecta of Performance Basics: The trigger worked well in both single- and double-action. It was the trigger I expected from Beretta, with no grit and no rough feeling. Although I was unable to shoot for groups on paper, I had access to lots of steel. As the rounds were being stacked, I did a slow fire at ten yards and quickly printed a grey pattern on the freshly painted steel. The groups opened up quickly, but they were still about the same size as my hand. This gun is a perfect combination of performance basics. Good trigger, good weight, and excellent sights. I have used a lot of compact and sub-compact pistols in my life and I have yet to find one that I consider a serious fighter. Because you must train with your gun to be able to fight with it. These guns are difficult to shoot and have very limited range time. If someone is ever forced to draw their gun in defense of their own life, this can lead to catastrophic results. The 80X is a break in this trend. It was easy to use and I would happily go the required range with it. This gun is also a great buy. I was disappointed that every magazine I read gave me the same results, and I felt like I was missing my Cheetah. The 80X is superior in every way. The Beretta 80X Cheetah checks all boxes I love the 80X Cheetah because of a variety reasons. It checks all the boxes that any serious concealed carry pistol should be able to perform. It is easy to carry and shoot. Its aesthetics are what makes it stand out from the rest. It is a great gun and would be a good choice for anyone. But it is also very attractive. The 80X Cheetah is a refreshing breath of air in a sea of black polymer guns. This is especially true of the bronze version. The Beretta 80X Cheetah is a high-performance pistol that is more then a collection polymer and quickly assembled components. Beretta.com has more information.
