With the Magpul MLOK Barricade Stop, Pulling out All the stops

Stabilized forends are a great way to improve accuracy when shooting a rifle. A tripod or bipod may not be practical or convenient for every situation. They are not practical for close-quarters engagement. Barricade stops such as the Magpul M-LOK Barricade stop offer a quick bracing solution. You only need a solid surface to brace it onto for stabilization. Magpul’s M-LOK Barricade stop At the recent Athlon Outdoors Rendezvous Magpul brought a bunch of cool stuff. The M-LOK Barricade stop was perhaps the most simple, yet full-functioning item. It’s amazing how a small, simple item can make such an impact. (Photo by Sean Utley). The polymer construction of the barricade stops allows for solid installation thanks to the M-LOK mounting platform. This design can be used as both a barricade and hand stop to further stabilize the area. Milled lines also help prevent slippage when used to stop slippage. The stop is made with a QPD ferritic, nitrocarburized and corrosion-resistant steel plate insert. It allows for confident contact with your shooting rest. This is due to the aggressive teeth that cover the front of this plate. The plate is slightly curved to ensure optimal contact on uneven surfaces. It also allows the firearm’s pivoting while maintaining contact. You can easily remove the old steel plate and replace it with a new one if it ever wears out. The Barricade Stop comes with a polymer body and a metal insert. There are also two sets of MLOK hardware.
