British shooter T. Stewart reports that he was present when these photos were taken. All I can tell you is that Mr. Hurley was reminded that if a deer jumped in front of his bullet, he would be sent to ‘At Her Majesty’s Pleasure’ for five years. “”That morning, five deer moved across the targets, literally blocking out the V-Bull. The bullet would have passed well above us as we were at the Firing Point, 900 yards away. They are not hunted in the Bisley Ranges so they don’t move or flinch at passing bullets. Bisley isn’t the only place where “the deer” and “the antelope” play. Shooters in Canada often encounter wildlife on the Connaught Ranges, near Ottawa, Ontario. William McDonald, Ontario: “Animals are common sight on Range. We see deer, turkeys and coyotes almost every day. E. Goodacre, a Queenslander, Australia, often sees ‘Roos at his home range. “I shoot at Ripley in Australia and the shooting is frequently interrupted by kangaroos. R. Hurley wasn’t the only one to see deer through his F–Class rifle’s scope. B. was moved by Hurley’s Bisley photo. Weeks posted this image saying, “Been there, done it!”
