UPDATE: SIG Sauer Releases P320 Spectre Comp Blackout

It’s been just over a whole year since SIG Sauer introduced the P320 Spectre comp (original story below). The 30% reduction in recoil due to the integrated compensator was a huge hit with shooters. Some prefer a subtler aesthetic for tactical reasons, or simply personal preference. SIG Sauer’s Blackout edition of its popular P320 Spectre Comp is now available. The SIG Sauer P320 Spectre Comp Blackout edition is identical to the original P320 Spectre Comp. The TXG tungsten-infused grip modules with Cerakote Elite Series blackout coating are the most noticeable differences. The combination of laser stippling and blackout coating causes the original grip’s grey to show through. The result is a two-tone grip. To further enhance the blackout aesthetic, the slide also has the SIG Custom Works Spectre Blackout coat. The 4.6-inch threaded barrel has a Nitron appearance instead of the titanium nitride golden barrel. The flat skeletonized trigger for the XSeries XSeries XSeries is also blacked out. It lacks the titanium nitride-gold finish. (Photo by SIG Sauer). It is worth noting, however, that the Blackout treatment comes at a higher price. The MSRP for the original P320 Spectre Comp is $1,399.99. The Blackout costs $1,549.00. The Blackout is a SIG Custom Works pistol and has the same enhanced features as the original. The original story below provides more information about the P320 Spectre Comp Line’s features. PDW reported on March 8, 2022: It is times such as these that make it very difficult to be a gun writer. My pocketbook can’t withstand the temptation. It seems like I have to be careful every time SIG Sauer releases something new. My wife and I are living in a truck filled with guns. I don’t think that I can explain it to her. Maybe she will understand if she sees the P320 Spectre Comp by SIG Sauer. The SIG Sauer P320 Spectre Comp. It’s been less than a month since SIG released the P365XL Spectre Comp. Now they have added the larger frame P320. The ultimate P320 is now available for concealed carry or competition. For enhanced grip in all situations, the polymer frame has a laser-stippled LXG TungstenXSERIES grip module. The slide is also optics-ready and has custom cocking serrations that allow for easy manipulation even under stress. The integrated compensator is also included in the slide. Atop the slide and compensateator are XRAY 3 night/day sights. Rounds are chambered in 9mm and sent downrange via an XSERIES flat skeleton trigger. Two 21-round steel magazines are included to keep the Spectre nourished. For those who live in extreme circumstances, 10-round magazines may be purchased. The P320 SPECTRE Comp builds upon the innovative P320XFIVE LIGEN and adds a new level to the 9mm polymer pistol. The P320 SPECTRE Comp includes the SIG Custom Works LXG treatment to improve grip of the patented XSERIESTXG tungsten infused tungsten polymer grip module. It also has a full custom work design treatment.” said Tom Taylor, Chief Market Officer, SIG SAUER, Inc. The compensator is directly dovetailed to the XRay3 front sight, which dramatically improves sight recovery. The compensator is finished in a Blackout Cerakote (r) Elite coating. This gives it a sleek look with P320 XFIVE LIGEN holster compatibility.” Availability: The SIG Sauer Spectre Comp is now available with a MSRP of $1.399.99 standard and $1.549.00 Blackout.
