March 17th 2023Today, March 17, is St. Patrick’s Day. Despite the current inflation and Biden’s antigun Executive Orders, as well as the war in Ukraine it can be difficult to feel lucky in 2023. However, you can still collect some lucky targets. These two targets are Irish-themed and provide some challenge as well as fun. Shoot these Shamrocks and the Pot of Gold to see if your luck is in the “luck of Irish”. To celebrate the traditional day of Irish pride, NRA has provided two (2) fun targets that you can download, print and shoot. These targets are free to try. Click on each Irish target photo to open a high-rez PDF file that you can download and print. The first target features a large, four-leaf clover in its middle with 17 smaller three-leaf Shamrocks around the perimeter. There are five black bullseyes in the center graphic. This gives you 22 aiming points for fun shooting. This Shamrock Target can be set at 100 yards for rimfire rifles and 200 yards for centerfire guns. CLICK HERE for Big Shamrock 4-Leaf Clover Target PDF. The second target features the legendary Pot of Gold at its end. There are 15 shamrocks with gold circles and five small nuggets made of gold with tiny bullseyes. Even at 100 yards, those small red dots can be difficult to find. To “clean” the Pot of Gold Target, you will need a half MOA (or better!) rifle. This rifle will hit the tiny red dots on the nuggets of diamond. Click on each image to open a high-rez PDF file you can print. Next, don your green and grab your gear to head out to the range for some fun shooting.
