The B-14R’s bolt and ergonomics are very similar to those of a Remington 700, making it a good rifle for cross-training in rimfire. The B14R model that was tested had a carbon-wrapped barrelle. The WOOX Furiosa chassis is incredibly innovative and unique. This high-tech hybrid chassis/stock combines wood sections with a full-length aerospace-grade aluminium skeleton chassis to give it the “feel” and stability of metal stock while maintaining the strength of wood. The smooth wood cheekpiece and the way the stock feels in the trigger hand are also nice. The Furiosa, made in Italy, is available in three versions, all of which have wood sections on the grip area, forearm and cheekpiece. Choose from natural Walnut Brown or Micarta Black. Alabama Arsenal tested the Micarta Black version of a B14R. Below are photos of centerfire rifles in a WOOX Furiosa chassis with Brown Walnut elements.
