First Look at Springfield Armory Model 2020 Redline Rifles

The days of selling hunting rifles based solely on accuracy are long gone. Weight, size, ergonomics, and the ability of mounting a suppressor have become important factors in backcountry hunting. Springfield Armory’s new Model 2020 Redline Bolt-Action Rifle Series was built with this in mind. 16-inch 6.5 Creedmoor 2020 Redline Model. The caliber options are.308 Winchester or 6.5 Creedmoor. Barrel options are 16 and 20 inches. All barrels feature carbon fiber sleeves that are wrapped in roll-wrapped sleeve wraps and are free-floating. The 16-inch option was designed primarily for suppressors to give hunters a more maneuverable package on the field. Silencer Central is offering a $200 discount on the Banish 30 suppressor to encourage the use of suppressors in conjunction with Redline rifles. Each rifle comes with an SA Radial brake if suppressors aren’t your thing. All 2020 Redline rifles come with a skeletonized Greyboe Trekker Stock. The stock is 28 ounces light, and features an adjustable length-of-pull, three slings studs, and a bubble level/thumbrest at the rear action. The Model 2020 Redline is a 20-inch.308-Win rifle with an adjustable TriggerTech Trigger and a.75 MOA accuracy guarantee.
