In this article, we have three great champions who reveal their secrets of wind-calling in video interviews. This “Three Champions’ story was first published a few years back. These interviews are great for competitive shooters who want to learn how to read the wind. We had the opportunity to interview three “superstars of High Power” and learn their secrets for reading the wind. At the 2010 SHOT Show we were able to corner these three “superstars”. Carl Bernosky (10 times National High Power Champion), David Tubb (7-time Nat’l High Power and 11-time Nat’l long-range Champion), and John Whidden (six-time Nat’l High Power long-range Champion) have shared their wind-doping techniques in the videos below. Watch these videos to learn valuable tips that will help you shoot more accurately and achieve higher scores in any wind condition. We were fortunate to have three incredibly talented champions share their “winning methods”. These guys are REALLY good at what they do. I thought: “Wow, imagine how a baseball enthusiast would feel if Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron and Ted Williams were all in the same room and they each revealed their hitting secrets.” Editor’s note: These interviews were conducted prior to all three men winning their most recent National Championships, so the introductions might list a lower number. John Whidden, for example, won back-toback LR Championships between 2016 and 2017. Top photo courtesy of Rifleman’s Journal.Similar Posts Tags: Carl Bernosky Dope John Whidden Windage YouTube
