Erik Cortina, a forum member, has produced a series YouTube videos on reloading equipment and precision hand loading. Erik’s video is a review of the Forster CoAx(r). The red-framed Co-Ax has a unique design and operation. It has dual guide rods, a central handle and dual guide rods. Die lock rings are inserted into slots, not screwed in. Dies can float while in operation. Erik does a great job of demonstrating Co-Ax’s unique features. He shows how to slide dies into the press at 1:00. It’s easy and slick. Erik demonstrates how sliding jaws grip the case rim, rather than a conventional shell holder. The jaws are closed as the ram is raised and then opened as it is lowered. This makes it simple to place and remove cases. Erik demonstrates at the 5:20 mark how spent primers flow straight into a catch cup. This system is a smart way to keep your press area and bench free of primer residues and debris. The Co-Ax is a very reliable way to prime cases, even though many Co-Ax users still prime their cases manually. The priming station sits on top of the press. Erik begins the priming demonstration at 4:20. Smart Accessories for the Coax from Inline Fabrications
Kevin Thomas, a forum member, also owns a CoAx press that he hot-rodded using accessories from Inline Fabrication. Kevin says: “Check out Inline Fabrication’s add-ons for the Co-Ax. I bought a riser mounting and a set linkages for my Co-Ax and am very happy with the results. The linkages are curvy. The work area is greatly increased and the press is much easier to feed when you replace the straight links with these. Inline Fabrications Forster Co-Ax Accessories Forster Co-Ax Curved Side Linkage
