Eric Cortina, a top F-Class shooter from Cortina Precision, interviews Jim Borden. Jim Borden is an engineer whose Borden Accuracy produces some of best rifle actions made. This is one the best video interviews with Eric Cortina. The video will teach you a lot. The video is over two hours long, so you might want to watch it in segments over several days. The interview has been praised by viewers for its wealth of information. Gunsmith Alex Wheeler said: “I consider Jim to be a friend, even though we’ve never met. One of the few guys who really understands actions. You’d be surprised at how few there are. At least in my opinion, he was the first timed-action out there with a good ignition. It was a fantastic interview. I hope he brings him back on again.” “Agreed. Jim is very knowledgeable and does a great job with his actions. This [Cortina] Interview with Jim Borden is excellent.” — Jud96 I really like Jim’s reasons for why ductility in an action is so important. Particularly in critical areas where surfaces are formed at 90 degrees, such as the area where bolt lugs and bolt body meet. This interview contains a lot of useful information.” — Jackie Schmidt. “I’ve enjoyed Erik’s informative interview videos. I agree that this interview with Jim Borden was the best. I learned a great deal. Thank you Erik and Jim!” – Alexander-M Regarding Jim Borden and Borden accuracy
