NEW Burris Eliminator 6 Riflescope with Laser Rangefinder The Burris Eliminator 6 is the most advanced new optics product to be introduced at SHOT Show in 2024. This compact optic combines a powerful rangefinder with multiple sensors in a 34mm tube. It also features easy-to-use turret control and sharp ED glasses. Burris’ Eliminator laser rangefinding scopes revolutionized hunting optics. These riflescopes offered a magnified optical with a built in rangefinder, giving hunters and varmints a fast/accurate aim solution. The laser on the Eliminator measured distance and then provided a firing option. Simply place the red dot onto the target. Burris, a rangefinder riflescope manufacturer, has released a completely redesigned, all-new Eliminator 6 that builds on five generations of Eliminator riflescopes. Hunters familiar with the Eliminator legacy series will immediately recognize the Eliminator 6 and they are right. It’s smaller, lighter, and looks like a regular telescope. How does it operate? The Eliminator 6 is easy to use. Simply range your target and hold the illuminated aiming points on your target. If necessary, you can hold wind using the hold-offs in the reticle. You don’t need to carry a separate Laser Rangefinder or dial elevation using knobs. See how the illumination and parallax adjustments are now conveniently located in a turret style knob that also includes the range activation button and brightness button array. Burris claims that the Eliminator 6 “has the most comprehensive and integrated technology ever delivered in an hunting riflescope”. This new Eliminator 6 also includes multiple sensors along with the laser distancefinder. The Eliminator 6 has a thermometer, barometer and inclinometer built in, and it measures density altitude automatically (which can be selected manually). The Eliminator 6 can provide ballistics solutions that are extremely accurate. The key features include: * Integrated Laser Rangefinder capable of ranging up to 2,000 yards.
Compatible with BurrisConnect app for quick programming and precise ballistics
* 4-20X Magnification
* X177 Reticle, with 177 illuminated 1/5 MOA aiming points
Angle Sensor informs ballistics Calculator
* Built-In Environmental Sensors
* HUD with 11 Data Zones
* Shotcall Marker Burris uses extra low dispersion (ED), glass to maximize optical clarity and reduce chromatic aberration in the Eliminator 6 for maximum optical clarity. The ED glass, combined with multi-coated lens, provides a crisp optical view and excellent low-light transmission. Other optical features include the new 5X system, with a 4-20X magnification range, a +2.0–3.0 diopter range, and a side focus/parallax adjust from 25 yards to Infinity. Parallax, illumination and range activation buttons are now all located on the same knob. The Eliminator 6’s range is precise and instantaneous. It can be set to 1400 yards for deer hide and 2000 yards for reflective targets. Place the reticle onto the target and press the ranging button. The distance in yards or metres will appear on the scope’s HUD. Environmental Monitoring — Climate, terrain and other factors play a major role in ballistics. The Eliminator 6 has a thermometer, barometer and inclinometer built in, and it measures density altitude automatically (which can be selected manually). The Eliminator 6 then selects a ballistic solution from the database calculated in the Burris Connect app. Ballistic Compensation – Eliminator 6 ballistics are calculated on the BurrisConnect App and then uploaded to the scope. The Eliminator 6 can be connected via Bluetooth to the mobile device of the user, allowing the creation of an internal DOPE Card that combines ballistic, environmental and ranging data. Users can create profiles based on factory load data, or completely custom. Precise Aiming Solutions: The digital DOPE card displays the precise holdover aiming points for the ranged distance when used with the illuminated X177 scope reticle. Combined with the reticle’s windage hold-off points, the Eliminator 6 offers a massive 177 aim points with 1/5 MOA precision to ensure reliable point-of-aim/point-of-impact performance. ShotCall Marker – Bullet velocity and bullet energy are displayed in the HUD at the ranged distance. These features help the shooter recognize when the distance of the shot is too long and the velocity/energy is too low for an ethical kill. The SCM will display a “X” when the user-defined ballistic terminal performance at the ranged length is inadequate.
