July 24, 2021
SFC Brandon Green, a 3-time National High Power Champion, gives instruction to a junior shooter. SFC Brandon Green is a qualified instructor for this young shooter. The USAMU team instructors led a Small Arms Firing School for rimfire shooters today, just a day before the big National Rimfire Sporter Match. This was done in collaboration with the CMP, who will host hundreds Rimfire Sporter shooters tomorrow, July 25, 2021. Today, the CMP held the official Rimfire Sporter check-in. The CMP conducted the official Rimfire Sporter Check-In. All Rimfire Sporter rifles must be 7.5 pounds in weight and the triggers must break at 3.0 lbs or more to ensure that they don’t dominate the competition.

The USAMU posted that “If you feel things are a bit quiet around here, keep going because High Power shooting will start next week.”
