Modern binoculars, laser rangefinders and other devices have sensors and microprocessors built in that can provide ballistics solution. These systems can be controlled by on-board software or by systems that communicate (via Bluetooth) with a mobile device running a Ballistics App. Today, we feature an Applied Ballistics Podcast which covers these impressive products that have integrated ballistics functionality. AB Integrated Products and FeaturesIn this podcast, Applied Ballistics Founder Bryan Litz answers some of the most frequently asked questions from listeners. Integrated Solution – Leica LRF & Kestrel Elite with AB Software. This video shows you how to pair a Leica Rangemaster.com with a Kestrel Elite. The Leica Rangemaster provides the Kestrel Elite 5700 with the Range, Firing direction, and Inclination Angle. The Kestrel calculates the firing solution, and displays it on its own display. It also feeds this back to the Leica, which then displays hold-over while looking through the Rangefinder. This allows remote, hands-free control of the Kestrel mounted in a mount and still be able to view the firing solution through the rangefinder. This video is older, but similar systems are available with the latest products.
