Hornady Security RAPiD Night Guard
The RAPiD safe uses RFID technology to allow quick access to your firearm and protect you from unauthorised users. The safe comes with four RFID tags that can be programmed by the user. This allows only selected family members to have access. The RFID tags can also be programmed to open any RAPiD Safe that you own.
There are two ways to access your Hornady RapiD Safe in the event of an RFID tag malfunction. A user-programmed access code on the front panel keypad or a mechanical key can also be used to open the safe. Once you have successfully accessed the safe, the spring-assisted, cushioned drawer quietly slides open, giving you access to your firearm. The drawer is large enough for most handguns of full size, as well as other valuables.
The front panel is tempered glass and contains the RFID reader, clock display, and access code keypad. The RAPiDSafe also has two USB charging ports at the back, which will keep your bedside table tidy. You can charge any electronic device that uses a USB charging cable using the USB ports.
The Hornady RAPiD Safe Night Guard works on AC power, but has a battery backup in case of power outage. The heavy-duty, tamper-proof construction is superior to industry standards and ensures that no unauthorized entry is possible. The Safe comes with a 1,500-pound-rated security cord for attaching to stationary objects to prevent theft.
