Customers thought the first-generation HIPERCOMPs, while effective at mitigating recoil and being bulky, were too expensive. HIPERFIRE responded by releasing the next-generation HIPERCOMP. They are now much more affordable and less bulky than the previous generation. Instead of using traditional trial-and error testing methods, they used “Fluent computational Fluid Dynamics software” to simulate a computer environment and test their compensator designs. HIPERFIRE used the advanced methods above to improve every iteration. They also added two new models. The next-generation HIPERCOMP does a better job at reducing recoil than its predecessor. HIPERFIRE also claims they are better than any other on the market. While other muzzle devices seem larger to make them more effective, the HIPERCOMP has managed to shrink during its upgrade. It has become lighter, more aesthetic, and smaller in dimensions. The 5.56 and 9.mm versions are compatible with standard M-16 bayonets, armorer’s wrenches, and the standard M-16 bayonets. If they perform as well, these next-gen HIPERCOMPs could become a new industry standard. They are light, efficient, and about the same size as a MILSPEC birdscage. All while being reasonably priced.
