Faxon Firearms expands into the pistol market with the new EXOS compensators. Faxon Firearms released Glock 19 magazine extensions earlier this year. These were designed for competition and defensive use. They also have new threaded barrels that can be used with popular CCW pistol models. Many of these pistols can now have a Faxon ExOS compensator to accompany them.
Faxon’s three new compensator designs were tested to work with six pistol models. However, they suggest that they can also be used with other similar models. They warn that compensators can alter a gun’s timing so it is up to the individual to decide whether to mount an EXOS compensater on something other than what’s on the box. You can find Glock versions other than the ones tested, as well as compact models for the S&W or Sig. Performance
Each of the three new EXOS compensaters is made of 6061 aluminum and anodized in black. They are specifically designed to match each gun model’s performance and style. The compensators have gas port cuts on both the tops and sides. This is intended to reduce muzzle flip and improve reliability. It’s up to you whether you want to use your EXOS compensator strictly for competitions and the range, or if its performance-enhancing features would also be a worthy addition to your CCW gun. If users find that the EXOS compensators work reliably on the compact models of Sigs and Smith & Wessons, they may become a more popular edition to those carry pistols. All three new EXOS compensators have an MSRP of $85 and include all necessary mounting equipment in the box.For more, please visit faxonfirearms.com.More Handgun Upgrades:NEXT STEP: Download Your Free Storm Tactical Printable Target Pack 62 Printable MOA Targets with DOT Drills – Rifle Range in YARDS This impressive target pack from our friends at Storm Tactical contains 62 printable targets for rifle and handgun range use.
