The 2021 Oklahoma Games will feature the popular Vintage Sniper Team Match. Competitors must use original, Korean War or earlier military sniper rifles. Optics must also have original or replica scopes. The CMP Games Rules lists approved optics and rifles. The course of fire was designed to replicate the conditions in which long-range military riflemen used long-range weapons. Two riflemen work together in a team. Each member of the team can serve as either a shooter or spotter during the match. After the firing is complete, the shooter or spotter switches roles and fires. Firing can be done at distances between 300 and 600 yards from the prone position. Shooters can use either a sling support or sandbag support, but not both. Wind doping is important and firing quickly is essential. Targets are only exposed for 20 seconds, then removed for 20 seconds. Pistol Competitions at Rimfire and Centerfire

There will also be several pistol matches, including the CMP As-Issued 1911 Pistol Match (military & police service pistol match), 40 shot Pistol Match (eicservice pistol match), EIC Service Pistol Match (cmp.22 Rimfire Pistol EIC match) and Pistol 2-Man team match. A Pistol Marksmanship 101 class will also take place. About the CMP Travel Games
