Smith & Wesson Recalls M&P12 Bullpup Shotguns Smith & Wesson (S&W), is recalling all M&P12 Shotguns manufactured prior to 10/15/2021. This recall is due to crack barrels that could pose serious safety concerns. You should verify the serial number and return the M&P 12 to S&W for repairs if you have one of the newly introduced bullpup shotguns. S&W will cover shipping. MPshotgunrecall.com has more information. Smith & Wesson Inc. received two reports from the field of cracked barrels in relation to the M&P12 Shotgun. We are implementing this Safety Recall on all M&P12 Shotguns made before October 15, 2021 to ensure that they meet Smith & Wesson’s high standards of quality. This is to ensure that there are no barrel anomalies, conditions, or other factors that could adversely affect the firearm’s safety, function, or performance. All M&P12 Shotgun owners are asked to stop using the product immediately.
