November 5, 2021. In light of increasing online censorship on many social media sites (such YouTube), Brownells launched a new online resource that will help customers build their AR-15 rifles at-home. Hosted at Brownells.com/HowToBuild, the new web page features step-by-step, interactive videos. The videos feature Caleb Savant from Brownells Gun Tech. They show the AR-15 build process, with clear instructions and expert advice. There are currently four AR Build videos available: Introduction, How To Build Your Lower, How To Build Your Upper, Troubleshooting Guide, and How to Build Your Upper. See all videos at: Brownells.com/HowToBuild. Each video has an easy search button in the upper left-hand corner that allows viewers to navigate to specific sections of the video. This will allow viewers to quickly access key parts of each video, and locate the information they are looking for. The Lower Video, for example, has sections on trigger installation and buttstock installation. The video also shows how to properly fire up and troubleshoot an AR-15 after it has been built. Brownells’ AR Builder Site provides links to all parts, tools, accessories, and instructions required to build an AR-15 rifle. You will find specific links to uppers and lowers, triggers as well as grips, triggers and buttstocks. There are also links to bolt carrier groups, handguards for AR-15 rifles, barrels, gas block, muzzle brakes, and other parts.
Ryan Repp, Brownells’ VP of Marketing, stated that videos and other content showing how firearms are built have been banned by many social media platforms. “Because of Brownells’ long-time support of the Second Amendment and individual freedom, it made sense for us to create a professionally-produced video and resource center to assist rifle builders of all skill levels make the rifle of their dreams in the comfort of their own home or workshop.” Similar Posts: AR building and AR gunsmithing, AR Instruction video.
