Trick-Shooting Tuesday – Shooting Aspirin Pills off a Balloon

Here’s an example of incredible marksmanship and amazing aiming by a USAMU soldier. Standing, SPC Ivan Roe shoots an aspirin pill from the balloon’s top without breaking it. He does it twice, with iron sights. Watch the Video to See Aspirin Pill Shot Twice from Balloon
The first time the pill is placed on a small piece tape, it sits just millimeters above its balloon’s upper edge (Time mark 00.40-45). The second time, however, the aspirin pill is placed flat on top of the balloon. This is a much more difficult challenge. At 00:59, Ivan manages to nail the flat pill again without hitting it with the balloon. This is truly amazing — and it was done while standing with Iron sights!

SPC Ivan Roe was using the German Feinwerkbau, an elite precision rifle favoured by Olympic and World Cup athletes. SPC Roe, originally from Montana, is a member the USAMU International Rifle Team.
