The unit uses a red laser that can be adjusted for windage and elevation. It can be seen at 25 yards during daylight and at 1 mile at night. The laser runs on a single 1/3n lithium battery that provides 6+ hours of continuous running time. The laser can be turned off automatically after 5 minutes, so don’t worry about forgetting to turn it on.
