SHOT Show 2022 Day 2 – Featured Pistols and Rifles

SHOT Show 2022 continues at Las Vegas. Although attendance is down in comparison to years past there are still many innovative products displayed in the “miles and aisles”. The SHOT Show includes two facilities this year — the Venetian Expo and the new Caesars Forum. These two facilities combine to provide more than 800,000 square feet worth of exhibit space. The new elevated walking bridge connects the two trade show halls. New Rifle Systems. There were a number of new bolt-action rifles for PRS/NRL customers, as well as some high-end hunting rifles like the Christensen Arms Modern Hunting Rifle, (MHR). There were also a number of new rimfire rifles. Many riflemen are shooting rimfire more than ever because of the rising cost of components and the difficulty in finding primers or powder. Christensen Arms Modern Hunting Rifle (MHR)
The Christensen Arms Modern Hunting Rifle, (MHR), features a multi-piece modular stock with a metal centre section and composite forearm and buttstock sections. The barrel is carbon-wrapped. The modular design of the MHR allows customers to choose from a variety forearm and butt sections. This allows you to set the rifle up for either field carry or long-range work from the prone. Aero Precision Bolt-Action Rifle With Barrel Nut Aero Precision showcased its new bolt-action rifle at SHOT Shot 2022. This rifle features a 3-lug (60 degree throw) bolt with three interchangeable bolt faces (standard, medium, and magnum). The rifle has a Savage-style barrel nuts that allows for pre-fit barrels. The rifle features a metal chassis that includes a modular forearm, extended forward bipod mount and quick-adjust lengths of pull. Rock Island TM22 — AR Style.22LR semi-auto Rimfire Rock Island Armory has created a new TM22 rifle that is AR-type in design and construction. It is made from 7075 aluminum aircraft-grade aluminum. It also features an AR-type grip and an MLOK-capable fore-end that can take a variety of accessories. The TM22 comes in a 20-inch barrel (TM22A20) or 18-inch barrel (TM22A18) version. The TM22 ships with a 10-round magazine. However, aftermarket 15- or 25-round mags can be purchased. The GunsAmerica Digest team tested the TM22 at the Industry Day at the Range earlier in the week. Even at the Smith & Wesson booth, there was a strong emphasis on small carry pistols. As more states allow concealed carry, gun sales have reached record levels. Gun-makers are now offering new pistols that can be used for everyday carry. SIG Sauer P365 in Rose Gold Plate and Jewells. A stunning P365 pistol was on display at SHOT Show 2022. This tiny carry pistol was finished in Rose Gold with jewels embedded in its slide. This is a new standard in Carry Pistol Bling. The P365 is a popular carry gun, and it is very thin with excellent ergonomics. SIG Sauer claims that the P365 is America’s #1 selling handgun. There are several P365 models currently available, including the P365X, P365SAS with flush sights, P365 Nitron Micro-Compact with integrated Red Dot, the P365 Romeo Zero, and the P365 XL. Savage Arms 110PCS Bolt-Action pistol The new Savage Arms 110PCS bolt-action pistol features a Savage model 110 Blueprinted action, secured in an aluminum one-piece chassis from Modular Driven Technologies.
