A triple-polyurethane coating enhances the water resistance. The Last Resort measures 17.5″ x 11.5″ x 7.5″ with two side pockets. It has an overall volume of 974 cubic inches (16L). It also has 10 pockets that can be used to store everything, including a computer and mission-related items. The removable divider also features a loop panel that covers one side. This allows for attachment of admin panels or other storage options. The Last Resort has a larger frontal loop field with two loop panels that can be used for identification, morale patches, and other purposes. Maxpedition also updated the handles and shoulder straps on the V2 to make it more durable. The most important change to the Last Resort is the easier access to the CCW Slip Pocket. The large D-ring pull makes it easy to access the CCW compartment with hook and loop enclosure. The V2 also has a larger loop space inside the CCW pocket for accessories and mag pouches.
