It is housed within a durable, cast aluminum housing. The Core measures 54mm in length, 36mm in width, and 43mm high. This is 11% less than other optics in the 20mm category. The included mount still ensures that the Core achieves 1/3 co-witness. The Core is lightweight at 3.9 ounces and can be used with almost any rifle, shotgun or SBR setup. The Core ships with a 2MOA dot in red or green. It has 12 brightness settings, including 10 daylight and 2 night-vision-compatible. The small package still allows for maximum target acquisition. The Core’s left side has a pair of robust buttons that adjust the brightness. The Core has a long battery life with 50,000 hours of continuous operation at a middle-setting. A side mount battery compartment allows for easy access to the 2032 battery. To change the batteries, you won’t need to take out the optic. The Core also has a Shake Awake feature, which saves battery life by going into sleep when it is left unattended. The reticle can be activated by the slightest movement.
