This post is a little more technical than my other content, but it’s something I found interesting. It’s not technical but it’s useful! Amazon Prime has revolutionized the way we shop. Prior to my Amazon Prime membership, expedited shipping was expensive. It took me a minimum of 2 days to get my order to my door. Most online retailers still charge a lot for expedited shipping, sometimes even more than the product you are buying. Amazon has changed the way consumers think about shipping speed for online orders. Amazon is now able to ship items faster than ever, even if they cost slightly more. Even if a product does not violate Amazon’s policies we often buy niche and specialized products. They aren’t popular enough for Amazon to stock the order and fulfill it directly. This means that there is no Prime shipping. This is why most gun shops don’t carry the specialty gear we buy online. Most of us won’t find an APA muzzle brake, or a TriggerTech trigger in our local stores – or even on Amazon. Long-range shooters are often left waiting up to a week for their gear. All products on EuroOptic that have the RED logo will be shipped within 1 or 2 days. This is a significant improvement over the previous slow processing times. Most orders placed before 4pm Eastern Time (Eastern Time), will ship the same day. They already get orders to the carrier fast, but this new solution will address shipping speed once it leaves their facility. This was a significant financial investment. Now, at checkout, the system calculates in real-time which delivery services are able to reach the specified delivery speed to your location. This is similar to Amazon. If you see the Red logo, you will know that it is one of the products covered by this program. It’s pretty sweet! EuroOptic, thank you for moving the industry forward! Many companies still display alerts on their websites stating that processing can take up to 3-5 days due to high demand. However, you guys not only kept up the order processing but also found a way for us to get our gear faster!
