Gatorz Limited-Edition Gunmetal Skyhook Frame
The Gatorz Skyhook is the lightest frame. It is available in a variety of lens colors and a black frame. Skyhooks are available in a variety of lens colors, including polarized and non-polarized. They can be ordered in black/smoke or sunburst as well as green, blue, gold and pink mirrored. Gatorz has a limited-edition gunmetal frame and blue mirrored lenses for the Skyhook.
The frames are made of lightweight aircraft-grade billet 7075 – T6 aluminum. A gunmetal gray Cerakote matte coating provides extra durability for long-lasting use. This frame is also the first to get a colored Cerakote on the Skyhook frame.
The Skyhook frame, like all Gatorz frames, can be adjusted to fit your face. The nosepiece and frame can be adjusted to your face and not the other direction. This ensures a perfect fit every single time. The frame is also slimmer than most and doesn’t get in the way when you use over-the-ear protection.
The blue mirrored lenses also have a gray base which helps reduce the bright light and enhances color perception. Polarized lenses with UV protection help reduce glare, strain, and eye fatigue. The Skyhook is ideal for everyday use, especially during sunny days. The lenses are also anti-fog coated and hydro-oleophobic (oil- and grease repellant), which ensure clear vision in all conditions.
The Skyhook is not ANSI Z87.1 rated due to its lack of side coverage. The lenses, as with all Gatorz eyewear do meet or exceed ANSI Z87.1’s ballistic impact requirements.
