Modern Advancements, Volume II, which is based on extensive ballistics testing, is a great successor for Volume I and contains some interesting research results. Laurie Holland, a UK gun writer, notes that Volume II of Modern Advancements is just as fascinating as Volume I. It also contains a series of mythbusters tests such as case fill-ratio and primer flash-hole uniforming. Neck tension, annealing and much more. The Wind Book for Rifle Shooters, written by Linda Miller and Keith Cunningham in 2007, is a great resource. You don’t have the luxury of believing us. You can access book excerpts at Amazon.com by clicking this link. This allows you to preview the first few chapters and see some illustrations. Some books discuss wind reading, while others cover long-range shooting or ballistics. Miller & Cunningham’s book is all about wind reading, and that is its strength. Galli’s book covers precision marksmanship basics using an easy-to-understand method. Galli uses the same instruction method in the book as in his live marksmanship classes.
