There are many holster options available, but only a few that can accommodate lights. 1791 Gunleather’s Ultra Custom Light Bearing Holsters are customizable to fit most concealed carry pistols. RELATED STORY 1791 gunleather: 4-Way and 3-Way Pistol holsters Fit Lasers 1791 gunleather Ultra Custom Light bearing Holsters The Custom Light Bearing holster uses Memory-Lok technology to allow you to customize the holster to fit your firearm. The Custom Light Bearing Holster is a customized fit that offers Kydex-like retention and the comfort of leather. The three-step process makes it easy to repeat the fitting process several times. This is especially useful if you have multiple guns. Everything you need to customize the holster for your firearm/light combo is included in the package. Two tools are included in the kit to shape the inside to prevent the light from slipping. These tools were originally made for shaping the sight channel of 1791’s other Memory-Lok Holsters. To ensure the perfect fit of your firearm, you will also receive two spacers as well as extended brass grommets. Grommets can be added if you need to increase the spacing to accommodate a larger slide. Two Ziplock bags are included to heat the leather in hot water. It is quite simple. The leather is heated in hot water (in the Ziplock baggie provided). The leather will become very soft and malleable once it has been heated properly. Take it out of the baggie, and then place the pistol in the holster. You should inspect the baggie for any potential snagging or catching points. Use the tools provided to identify potential snagging areas and create a channel. You can shape the leather to fit your pistol as much as you like while it cools. You can make a holster that is very detailed and attractive. You can get it so that your gun is securely held without too much detail. Editor’s note: They look slightly larger than they actually are. They don’t have two-point belt loops so they may not fit as well to the body. It is possible for them to print while concealed. Available now for subcompact to full size frames with a MSRP of $99.99.
