Nancy Tompkins, opening day of the 2022 SW Nationals, posted: “We began the day off with National Anthems for Brazil. Canada, Puerto Rico. Scotland. And the USA. Today we have 282 shooters and 333 for Long Range. It’s amazing to see so many targets up, and so many competitors after two years.

Nancy wrote: “Thanks to all the sponsors, volunteers and shooters who traveled from all around… to make this match so memorable.” Parting Shot: NormHarrold Target, 200-17XPaul Philips posted: “Today, I pulled a target to Norm Harrold. This was his 1000-yard target that scored 200-17X. This was my best F-Class score. It’s a great feeling to see them all in the X-Ring. Nice shots, Norm! This is a 5-inch diameter X-Ring. NOTE: This was the 20-shot competition at 1000 yards on Day 2. We believe that Norm scored the second highest for this 20-shot match, after Steven Zock, who shot an incredible 200-19X. See you next year!
