June 22nd, 2022Bang Clang! Shooting USA TV features the 2022 Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting Championship. Shooting USA Steel Challenge is a Shooting USA TV episode that airs on June 22, 2022, on the Outdoor Channel. Show times are Wednesdays at 9:00 PM Eastern and Pacific, 8:00 pm Central. You can view the show on Vimeo on Demand for $0.99 each episode after the broadcast times. The Steel Challenge course is composed of multiple 5-target close range stages. This discipline is also known as “drag racing with guns”. Draw 5 steel targets and score your time. The shooter who takes the shortest overall time wins. There are many pistol and revolver classes. They can be used for rimfire or centerfire, iron sights, optics, and more. The popularity of the rimfire rifle class and the pistol-caliber centerfire rifle class is increasing (and speed). The total number of gun classes is 13, which is the most in any shooting championship. Competitors using enhanced open guns equipped with compensators and red dots optics are the fastest in the centerfire handgun match. Shooting USA has produced a 4-minute video. Jessie Harrison won the Ladies High Overall title and the Steel Master award at the 2022 World Speed Shooting Championship. Harrison is the first woman ever to win the Steel Master award. The Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting Championships has grown to be one of the most prestigious professional pistol competitions in America. In 2022, hundreds of competitors competed for cash prizes and glory at Talladega Marksmanship Park. Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA), manages the event.
