The shooting range in St. Louis is an excellent facility. Forum member Alex M. wrote: “The St. Louis Bench Rest Rifle Club has been the best shooting facility I’ve ever seen. The ranges for shotgun, rifle, shotgun and archery are all excellent. There is a nice trap field and manually operated traps. My wife and I shoot pistols and rifles at 25-600 yards. They have a dedicated rimfire range and training bays. I shoot their monthly F Class matches (600 yards), where they award medals (1st-2nd, 3rd, and 4th) for F/Open, F/T/R, and F/Bench. They also host the Sierra Cup Challenge. “Map to Bench Rest Rifle Club Range, Wright City, Missouri.

2022 Super Shoot — The Last One at Kelbly’s Range. The last Benchrest Super Shoot at Kelbly’s Range took place May 24-27, 2022. This was the “final showdown”, of the world’s best group-shooting benchrest aces at Ohio’s Kelbly’s range facility. Jeff Summers was the overall Super Shoot Champion in 2022, with the best 100- and 200-yard group-size Two Gun Aggregates. James Mock, a gun writer, noted that Jeff Summers was the master of the Super Shoot. He battled the difficult conditions and won the Super Shoot, which was held at Kelbly. This is the fourth time Jeff has been first. This is a testament to the fact that even good men can succeed. Don Powell, an Ohioan, took second place. Summers finished the year with a 0.2513 Aggg.
