A Milwaukee woman fatally shoots an intruder while protecting her two children

Sometimes, you will find videos online showing big cats and bears attacking hikers. It was likely protecting its babies, which is the consensus. These instincts are not limited to animals. One Milwaukee woman proved that she can fatally shoot an intruder who enters her home and brings her children with her.

Milwaukee Woman Shoots an Intruder to Protect Her Children

Monday, August 15th, a Milwaukee woman asked not to be identified enjoyed her morning shower before heading to work. She heard her children, aged 12 and 14, screaming in the living room. It turned out that an intruder had broken into her home.

WTMJ-TV Milwaukee reports that she “without hesitation raced to her bed, grabbed her gun and ran down the hallway to confront the intruder.”

According to the report, her pit bulls had already attacked the intruder. According to the woman, he would not stop coming. She fired multiple shots at him, and he was shot and killed. According to reports, the suspect was in his 30s and acting out of control.

Bushraa Rahman, a community activist, told MEAWW that “In today’s day and age with mental health and all the other happenings in the world, it’s better to protect yourself.” You must, to be honest.

Newsweek adds legitimacy by stating that her actions are supported by the U.S. Department of Justice’s July statement that there are 2.5 million burglaries per year in the United States and that 66 percent of these are home intruders.

Rahman, who helped to clean up the scene, said that she was scared because her children were with her. She did what any mother would do. She stood up for her children.”

The Aftermath

Police arrested the woman shortly after the shooting and removed the body with Rahman’s assistance. Police released the mother after several hours of questioning. The matter was referred to the District Attorney and police have no plans to release any further information.

This family has already suffered the consequences. According to the mother, her children are traumatized and she plans to move out when they find a new place. This is especially significant considering that this is not the first time the family has been in this situation.

WTMJ-TV reports that the gun was purchased by the mother ten years ago after she discovered a man sleeping underneath her son’s mattress. She stated that she hoped it would never be needed.

This mother did not let her gun ownership slip after ten years of no incidents. If she had, this story might have been entirely different. This is yet another example of how guns can save lives.
